We should be moving toward more local control of our education system. Our teachers are the boots on the ground and are far better at identifying and addressing the various needs of their students than the politicians in D.C. or Little Rock. Teachers need to be given the leeway to be creative and innovative because no two students learn in exactly the same way. As State Representative, I will be an advocate for school choice and returning control of our education system back to the local level. Parents, teachers, and local school districts should be setting the standards on how our kids are educated.
